What is skin care?
Is it using the latest products that promise eternal youth? Getting the newest skin treatment trend or buying the latest tool in the market?
Skin Care has been around for centuries, it is not a secret that the beautiful Cleopatra used to bathe in milk to preserve the softness of her skin and Chinese women used rice to keep their bright complexion.
The ritual of skin care hasn't changed much since ancient times what has changed is the infinite array of skin care products we have to our disposition making the ritual of skincare more fun, interesting, and sometimes more stressful.
These days skin care is something I hear and see more than ever. I have noticed very young girls talking about it getting treatments and buying products, and I’ve seen men doing the same. Skincare has become part of our lives and people understand the importance of caring for our skin.
Skincare is the act of nourishing, protecting our skin, understanding our skin needs, and keeping it healthy without overwhelming it, after all the skin is the largest organ we have and its job is not only to look beautiful it has many other functions like detoxifying our body, protecting our organs and holding our body together.
Whether you keep a simple routine or have a more extensive one the most important thing is to have one.
